I have the LG G6 and its a G7 just renamed it to q7. They are good phones and not a low budget as it sounds. Had my g6 since day one and no issues with it.
Its just better close to true android without all the gimmicks that samsung does. PIC quality is on par with everything else if not better.
Seems LG just can't get any traction going with their flagship smartphones. The G3 and G4 were good phones at the time but suffered from the bootloop issue. My G3 suffered the common black screen issue right outside of warranty. The G5 with it's modular design was an interesting concept but seems to be more of a gimmick. There was like what, only 2 modules made for it? With the G6 and G7 LG isn't even trying anymore but they seem content on where they're at.

I love my G6, no issue. Honeslty great battery life and cell/wifi signal. Camera is on par with top end models of other phones. They dont have too much "gimmicks" overlay from the ASOP androids, so that is the good thing. Less bloated better the phone. They are having some identity issues, but you can tell a LG phone from the rest base on the volume locations. Now they move the back to the side of the phone instead of back of the phone on higher end models. Think once they get the same designed and just keep the software current, they can get their footing back.
Yea, people may not be buying them like they do the Samsungs but the G6 and G7 are excellent phones.
Not trying anymore?
LG had the very first skinny bezel phone in the G6. It also had a best in class camera when it released. At $400 on Amazon right now it's a STEAL.

Yep, its all about advertisements and stupid resale value. Most will get their phones on loans, and do a quick cash return and not pay the bill, Stuck with bad ESN. The g6 i got, somebody try to do just that, and lucky i got to the company in time to catch the seller in the act. Try to pass off a unlock tmobile for att, and it came up ESN payment owe. Some folks might not get lucky as i did, just i know who to talk to and how to get it completely clean and clear, and force the seller to pay their bill without killing the phone. ( force or not, the phone is clean and i didnt get ripped off)
Back to the LG.. if they advertise better, they can keep up with the samsung. I have 2 Lg tvs and works like champ with built in apps.
