So when I get up the tv screen goes black and then a few seconds later goes back on to normal. It's almost like a motion sensor or something?? Anyone else having this issue? It's a A80J 65". Just bought it last week. TIA

A week old?

Take it back.

Behavior you describe is not normal. There are no motion sensors on TVs that I know of.

Do you have sound when this happens, or is it as if the TV was turned completely off?
Is the power light on or off when it happens?

No. Just loading the program. HD cable now days. Nothing happens unless you're with HDMI products. Include the program itself. Which is the usual channels locally and national level.
