Anyone know the current status of MythTV (the alternative free DVR for OTA)?

Tivo has become wonky with the recent software - even for lifetime subscribers, and TABLO wants a $50/year subscription. I may end up setting my old VHS recorder to record the few things I watch from OTA TV.

I use AirTV for that.
Requires free Sling account but works great.
