I have a Ruud heat pump that has an odd problem. Anyone know of a competent Ruud repairman/company in the Crossville or surrounding area?
I have had others techs here but they are baffled by this problem and I am tired of shelling out money pay someone to guess. Replacing parts one by one is not my idea of troubleshooting. Thanks.

Googling "Ruud" took me to the manf website which led me to several that sell that brand and should be able to service it.

Thanks for the replay. I have tried two Ruud service companies.

I talked to a neighbor who just replaced his six year old Carrier heat pump that was still under warranty. He told me that even with the warranty they were charging him about $600 a year to keep it running. He finally put in a new one by a different company.

I really like this area. It is sad not to be able to find a competent service person. Worse, it could be that not fixing a problem may be intentional with a goal of replacement.

Thank for the reply.

It seems I cannot get a decent heat pump repair person in Crossville. The only thing these heating folks out here know how to do is sell new heat pumps. No problem if you can afford a new heat pump every five years or so.

If you are moving to the Crossville area, FFG, this is something to be very careful about.

did you try Air Experts? They do work out of Crossville. I use them, they just did a major repair to my furnace here in Ckvl.

Air Experts, LLC.
