Just another vote for Ragland and Riley up Hwy 111. We have had occasion to need emergency care at night. They are the best.

Yup, he's a great option for lots of folks. He actually wanted to give up the euthanasia because he doesn't like doing it but hopefully he won't do that. He is actually quite a good diagnostician from what I have experienced and I like that his approach is "fix them" rather than lots of expensive blood work and tests. It's very practical and the perfect approach for what we are looking for.

Do you really call him "Dr. Death?" Awww. That makes me feel bad. He totally hates doing that. He almost wouldn't put my dog down because he can't handle it when big strapping men cry and my husband is, well a big strapping man who was probably going to cry. He also calls about a week later to give you his condolences, and he also calls to check on how they are doing if there was a sickness issue.

I hope he continues to do the euthanasia because it is such a blessing for a lot of folks to be able to have their animals put to rest at home in a more peaceful manner. I know lots of folks that have used this service including my ex.

The Dr. Death comes from not only the fact that he is known for his euthanasia services but years ago the paper did an article on him and there was a photo included. The photo made him look like he had little horns on his head and well he has those pointy ears and beady eyes, thus his look similar to Satan. Somehow Jay Leno got a hold of the photo and aired it on his show and dubbed him Dr. Death. So its somewhat of a joke.
