I suspect that with nearly 2,000 new jobs coming online in and near the new Highlands Business Park on the SW part of town, that's the area that will see a lot of residential growth, particularly once the new I-40 interchange is completed at Mine Lick Creek Road.

Whenever a new a new interchange is built many new businesses will develop shortly afterwards. Truck stops, mini-markets, restaurants, motels and other services to provide for the increased traffic to the Highlands area. The area around the Bennett St extension will be zoned commercial. The areas south of l-40 have the most potential for residential development in my opinion. Do some research before buying an existing home in that area. Many homes are for sale as a result of the increased construction of the new businesses and commercial growth around the Highland Park and the Academy Sports warehouse.
