Just when I think they cant come up with anything more ridiculous. I cant believe they would even suggest a codes inspector could enter your residence without permission. Im so glad I moved out of that town. I guess they call it progress.

Geesh! So basically the ordnance would turn every rental in that town into a section 8 property without the subsidy for the tenants rent. That is crazy! Does Monterey not realize that they too are part of a free country?

My gosh, I can understand why Monterey would want to make sure rental properties are all up to code, but this seems mighty extreme. I hope cooler minds will prevail.
