We'd like to find a place to enjoy our natural scenery here, but we don't know where to go in town.

I really wish our art museum was open later Friday and Saturday nights. I believe there's a Hester's cafe there, the views of the bay are nice, and the setting is classy--of course because it's an art museum. Oh well, just wishing....

Either of the options from the Omni are good, Republic of Texas or the Glass Pavilion.
There's also Joe's Crab Shack or Harrison's Landing on the T heads, and depending on how upscale you don't want to get, the Seawall Food and Spirits has good food. You can also ride the Harbor Ferry or the Japonica out of Harrison's Landing.
Other options include Snoopy's Pier or Doc's on the island.

If you want to watch the sun set over the water, Snoopy's is the place.

Pier 99 on North Beach has a beautiful view of the Lex, Harbor Bridge, and downtown! Plus the food is really good.

Thanks for the suggestions. We went to Harrison's Landing and enjoyed the atmosphere. Will have to give the other places a try.
