I couldn't believe what I read but I guess I shouldn't be surprised that someone would figure out how to incorporate those damn perfume samples from magazines into marketing food at your home.

Check this out!

Domino's has teamed up with DVD rental stores in Brazil to make discs that release the scent of a fresh (Pizza) pie as the movie goes on. How? The discs are printed with ink that emit smells of cheese, sauce and dough when it reaches a certain temperature inside the player. The thermal ink even changes color.

Yes, too far. I don't want to smell that stuff in my own home.

It could backfire and customers renting the DVD might buy some competitors pizza instead of Dominos.

If they tried it here, someone would surely complain of being "deathly ill" from the smell..
class-action lawsuits in California..
"victims" collecting a coupon good for $.50 off their next scented movie rental..

LOL.. you wouldn't want to make an R-rated movie "kid friendly" by giving it as pleasant scent..

I remember when dvd's came out they were so clear that there wouldn't be any commercials and it would actually cost
less than VHS tapes. Enough with the freaking commercials, they do not influence me to buy anything of theirs.

This is America. Thirty lines of extremely fine print flashed on the screen for 1/4 second constitutes a legal warning that the DVD would emit a smell and that users view the DVD at their own risk.

Simple. After watching the video, go back to the store empty handed, tell them that after the DVD started to smell like pizza, the dog ate it.
