She admitted to watching pornography (online) as a 12-year old

Says a lot about American women these days

So what is her degree major? Her career choices after doing porn are severely limited and I can't think of any that would require a college degree. At this point she is just taking up space in the classroom. It would be better for her to drop out and make room for someone that could put that degree to good use.

No, it doesn't say anything about American women. It says one thing about one woman. It's idiotic to say that every single American woman is exactly like only one woman you read one article about.

What would that be? That her morals don't agree with yours?

Apparently you're not getting the point that she is going to DUKE to get a degree that would be used going forward.

It actually doesn't say anything in particular about even the one woman.

As Boxcar said, it's no one's business but hers.

If she really is in it for the education, the one stupid thing she did was come on national TV and talk about it. Now everyone knows who she is and her real name.

This is not that unusual anymore, and sadly has become a reflection of this "new" younger generation see morality differently than their parents or grandparents.

Awhile ago there was a story in NYC media covering various "Sugar Daddy" websites. These are places where young girls and men basically meet up with men willing to help them pay for this or that expense or whatever. Long story short it's prostitution plain and simple, but the *nice* boys and girls from "good families" don't see it that way. The (often older) men paying for these services simply see themselves as "helping out" a young person with student loan payments, rent or other debts.

Believe it or not that is just the tip of the iceberg. With the advent of the Internet and other technology prostitution and porn have exploded. This is coupled with young and even older persons who simply do not see anything wrong in what they are doing. That is until they are either arrested or perhaps someone from work or a job interview "has seen that face before"....

NYU, Duke, Columbia, it doesn't matter; look around long enough and at a good number of colleges/universities you'll find at least a few that are on the game.

When you speak with these young people many say the same things: higher education is expensive and they don't want to go deep in debt with student loans. They simply see it as another way of working their way through school.

It has been happening for decades now, although the internet makes anonymity easier. When I went to Fordham eons ago, there was an IRS agent in NYC pretending to be a porn producer who, of course, was simply satisfying his own desires via the ruse. Both major NYC tabloids reported coeds fell for it from Columbia, NYU, and Fordham. I'm sure their goal, just like today's college kids, was to make more money and keep student loan debt down. Even though tuition was far lower, so were projected salaries, and what was being offered was far beyond anything they could normally make.

Times change less than we think.

her major is women's studies. complete garbage and useless, however i support her line of work (porn). she is using what mother nature gave her before father time takes it away. why not? men are weak for physical beauty especially of a teenage girl. sell it while you can before you get old. make your millions in about a decade and leave.

also what's wrong or different between a sugar daddy and a man you marry? you still have to have sex when you get married and the guy has to give you stuff. perhaps, god is involved or some BS statements like stay with you forever blah blah even though we know divorces are at the 50% rate. i see no difference.

btw you cannot be arrested in america for doing webcam work. that includes having sex with a partner on screen. if you produce movies, i believe you need a license and that's about it. are you trying to scare people from going into porn? when escorting is done right, men and women can meet very rich and powerful people and enjoy great sex while being paid. you just have to offer a great overall package to your suitor. you never know if you meet the right person, you may actually get a job in a new industry and advance your life. it sure beats a stupid mcjob or being a starbucks barista (that is, if the illegal mexicans haven't already taken those jobs like they have in construction...)

porn is a career. you speak as if there is an "after" time of hell when you stop porn. no. you can produce, create sex products, push products at trade events (exxxotica that comes to new jersey), act in scenes again, etc. jenna haze, jenna jameson, ron jeremy (the super star of course), james deen, jesse jane, kayden kross, farah abraham - the list goes on and on - have made this into a career bigtime. same with sunny leone as she blew up bigtime in her native land india. kim kardashian was very smart and cunning in how she marketed her sex tape, then got into playboy and now is a very wealthy woman. she had no talent but used sex work to become richer than all of us on this website. you have no idea of how far you can go in this industry. you are looking at amateur clips on the web and think that's as far as someone can go. you have a very short-sighted understanding of the industry.

overall, what bothers me is that i think miriam weeks is being scammed at $40k or so a year to learn how to hate men at duke. even if her major was english or some other garbage liberal arts junk, it would never pay off at that price for tuition. and btw, go to a cam site as a guest. you will meet many girls who just finished college and can't find a job. some even have JD's (law degree and license).
