For every handful that are on the fence that think it was negative, there will be another portion from the same pool that believe the opposite.

That has to be among the dumbest things I have seen someone do on the air. Why someone that young would intentionally destroy what could have been a promising career as well as years of schooling baffles the mind. I have no sympathy. That was totally classless, rude and offensive. Though she may get her 5 minutes of fame from it as the video goes viral.
Why did she do it? Because she doesn't care, she obviously doesn't want to continue in that field. Who cares if it was offensive & classless, it was funny as hell.
Burned bridges with her work and probably burned them with any friends she had there. The news anchor didn't look too happy, handled it pretty well, but it probably be one of those things where they never talk again.
Ie, "DON'T YOU DARE DO THAT TO MY PROGRAM!".

I agree with those who said she was very foolish to burn bridges behind her, and she surely has. She also violated some FCC rules with that, but what are the odds they'll do anything?
Pretty sure I know more than you. My local newscaster was an older African-American woman 2 decades on this chick and less attractive. After 5 years on the job, she was offered a position to another bigger network in the Northeast. If you have a hard work ethic and dedication, it will be recognized by those around you and you will be rewarded. Didn't Oprah advanced from similar small stations in Chicago and Baltimore in the 19-freakin-70s as a black woman against all odds? She sure did and look at her now. If your a pot smoking entitled loser like some people, you will never advance and more than likely screw up your chances way before that could ever happen like the f bomb girl.
Stereotype much? This "pot smoking loser" works 40 hours a week in sales in a company that sells internationally, supports a family, owns a home, as well as pretty clean cut in appearance. As are many others who partake in the "devil's weed." So much for stereotypes, eh? As for this reporter doing what she did. It probably wasn't wise doing what she did, because I am of the belief that you should never burn bridges, but if her next career is more successful, and she is happy, then who cares? It really is amazing that people believe the propaganda that they've been spoonfed all of their lives regarding cannabis. And yet, a lot of these folks probably have no problem getting s*** faced off of a bottle of wine, which IMO is much worse. Don't get me wrong, I drink beer, but those who are OK with drinking, but opposed to cannabis use are hypocrites.
