The government just goes out back and picks the money from its money tree. Since it doesn't cost you anything, what difference does it make.

Well, since 70% don't even show for the hearing I'm guessing only a few will partake. Hopefully, it will be a felony for those that harbor those that don't show.

We already pay for illegals' medical bills. Hospitals cannot turn them away. We already pay for their housing and food stamps when they drop their anchor baby, at our costs, in the local hospital. So what's new?

I'm not sure if you understand how our legal system works but we pick up anyone's legal bills if they can not afford representation

You really should look up what public defenders make. They aren't billing 400.00 per your or anywhere near it. They start off making in the 40s and after a decade of service the median is 70k
