Obama got blamed for high gas prices by Republicans a couple of years ago
Is Obama to Blame for High Gas Prices?

It got me wondering
Will the party of "values" now thank President Obama for low gas prices?
Gasoline price hits five-year low | TheHill

Quote:
The average price of gasoline hit its lowest point in nearly five years Friday, following similar drops in crude oil prices.
The national average price was $2.60 a gallon Friday, the lowest since Dec. 27, 2009, auto group AAA said.
“There is no end in sight to lower gas prices as crude oil continues to fall sharply,” AAA spokesman Michael Green said in a statement.

Of course not. If something bad happens, it's his fault. If something good happens, someone else gets credit.

It does not matter what it is.

Energy prices are lower due to external factors and fracking on private land despite, not due to, federal policies.

He didn't, and I highly doubt OP believes he did.

No, because they could never or would never concede that he did or does do anything right.
Which is really sad.

DID he do something in this case? thought it was principally fracking and the increased US supply that triggered this drop. Bet the green minded base supporters will have an issue if Obama was the true power behind fracking.

If the OP can give an example of anything that Obama has done to lower oil/gas prices, I'll gladly give Obama credit where credit is due.

I think the OP's post was meant to be completely sarcastic. I highly doubt anyone here truly believes that Obama had anything to do with the falling gas prices, or even the rising gas prices in the past.

Sorry, Dopo, but no matter who holds the Oval Office, he can't control the price of oil. It is what it is, so all we can do is enjoy this while it lasts.
