I don't know if you have ever been in a firearms confrontation, I have and it is quite distressing. GZ might very well be experiencing the after effects of TM assault and his decision to use deadly physical force to survive that assault.
Above Average Bear, Can you explain his 2005 attack of an undercover cop as a pre effect of TM (LOL)? Face it, GZ has more than one screw loose, always did always will, and society is safer when such folks are not free to wander amongst the sane.

Hey, you know he just might have a screw loose. But that dosent change the fact that from what I know of the TM case, he was justified to take the shot.

50 years ago, he would properly have been in Bellevue while Martin was walking down the streets of his hometown. GZ in Bellevue = a saner way to handle GZ.
If he was smart he would have moved to a secluded place in Wyoming. But then...
