They should be illegal everywhere. A Public place is not a YOGA class! It is indecent, shows laziness, and they all look flabby and gross. Plus, YOGA pants are not worn by those practicing YOGA, most are used because no other clothing items STRETCH that FAR!
If you're not in a yoga class you shouldn't be wearing those pants. Those are training pants; that's like a ballet dancer walking around in a tutu.
This stands in the same category with those parents taking kids to the bus stop in their pajamas...so rude and embarrassing for the child and his/her friends. Use common sense and see passed yourself for a minute.
Same with jeans; unless you are working in a gold mine or something, a person should not be wearing jeans as that was the reason why jeans were invented.
I didn't even know what yoga pants were until someone posted a picture of them here. I guess they are one of those fashion things that look good on some people but not on others. Still, I am no one to dictate what anyone should wear. I have been wearing jeans since the 50's in every style they have morphed into with the exeption of today's skinny jeans. Now I wear the more loose fitting "mom jeans" more appropriate to my age of 69. I won't ever give up them up. You'll have to pry them off my cold, dead, body because I love them.
I doubt this Montana law maker would get this bill passed if he expected the female vote. Even those women who didn't wear yoga pants wouldn't want any restrictions on what they could wear. Yoga pants today, who-knows-what? tomorrow.
I'm a democrat and can attest to having read many idiotic things democrat politicians dream up. If someone posts all the stupid bills thought up by dems and all those thought up by republicans, there is no telling which would be the longest. More scandals in Washington have been with democratic congressmen, but republicans aren't immune. If it makes anyone feel good to denigrate one party or another, just remember your party will be next. It's a promise.
Gee, I wonder what he thinks of nude statuary?
Or of Nude paintings?
SHould we ban them too?
I know an art gallery owner whose wife won't let him display nude paintings of any kind. She says it's just porn disguised as highbrow art.
