1) Those animals should have their nuts cut off and then get dumped to the sharks.
2) You HAVE to be savy about your situation and ESPECIALLY warn your sons and daughters about people possibly drugging, assaulting them etc.
It is ENTIRELY valid to caution about people putting themselves into situations as we do not live in a perfect world where what you "should" be able to do safely is not always reality.
We've had a few young people killed within miles of my house over the years for doing nothing other than using some bad judgment and falling prey to bad people. It doesn't make them bad, it doesn't make them not a victim but don't tell us to sugar coat the story that whatever you do it's *ok* because that's ignoring the reality that there are animals out there.
The young woman went to a beach in broad daylight and was raped in front of dozens, if not hundreds of people, not one of whom did anything to help her. I am going to have to reiterate that point until people get that this is the only salient data point.
Still don't know all of the story. Was she drugged and forcibly raped or was she a willing participant who later regretted her actions and cried rape? Things like this happen as often as rape. Probably best to hear all the facts before all the forum lawyers and angry mobs form demanding justice.
Hmmm...all I can say, is that a woman being raped would trigger an extremely violent reaction from me. I couldn't just ignore it, let alone film it. Somebody is going to get broken. Maybe even killed. The thought of witnessing such an act in progress, turns on the red rage mode. Its a very bad part of me, and I can't control it, once its out.
What is so hard to understand that a woman should be able to go to a beach, IN PUBLIC, and not get raped? Is it not reasonable to believe that in broad daylight, on a crowded beach that one is not going to be raped in front of, literally hundreds of people? What did this young woman do to deserve any comment from anyone other than contempt for the 3 POS who did this to her? While a person should exercise caution and common sense, these are obviously not enough. She went to Florida for spring break and it is her fault?
To be fair, while you *SHOULD* not have to worry about this, the fact is, that is not reality. So while at spring break, women should take more care to be aware of their surroundings and not get all messed up. I'm a woman, and I take personal responsibility for myself. I don't have blinders on and just assume I can get trashed on a beach where there are a bunch of drunk jerkoffs.
As the mother of a son, his father and I have taught our son how to treat his fellow humans, and what the meaning of mutual consent is.
And that's the sad double standard about this kind of situation. Women are told from childhood, "don't go there," "don't wear that," "don't drink too much," "don't be by yourself," etc. How many young men get the same kind of admonitions about how to behave? When this happens, we can't just shrug their behavior off as "boys will be boys."
Because it must somehow be her fault. She asked for it, she lied about it, she got drunk, she was dressed like a *****, she shouldnt have gone to spring break. Those poor guys just couldnt control themselves.
Who said it was her fault. Read my post, I didn't assign blame to anyone. That's why everyone gets their day in court. You seem a little too quick to bring out the lynching rope.
I read the initial post thst was shared, nothing indicates she was forced against her will. There aren't enough facts of the case made public for you or anyone to make that determination. As usual you speak without having a clue. You probably sided with the the girl who made the Duke accusations and probably bought off on the Rolling Stone article about Virgina.
