Sexual battery is only legal if you're working for the government as a TSA.

Anybody who decides to go to "Spring Break" needs to have their head examined.

Lynching rope? Classy. I don't want these guys lynched, I want them put in jail where they belong, but I also want to bring awareness to the fact that there are a whole bunch of people in this country who IMMEDIATELY respond to rape accusations with:

A- she lied about saying no,
B- she shouldn't have been where she was,
C-she shouldn't have worn that,
D-she shouldn't have been doing what she was doing,
E-she flirted with the guy,

and the parade of excuses goes on and on. IT HAS TO STOP. People need to teach their sons to STOP FORCING THEMSELVES ON OTHER PEOPLE'S DAUGHTERS.

Um, I did read original (disgusting, rape exusing) post. Here, below, so you can read the drivel that you typed.

Things like this happen as often as rape <NO, THEY DO NOT>. Probably best to hear all the facts before all the forum lawyers and angry mobs form demanding justice.

A person who is incapacitated is unable to consent to sex. Period.

The victim was 19 years old and incapacitated during the attack, sheriff’s spokeswoman Ruth Corley told the Los Angeles Times. “Investigators believe she was drugged,” she said. “Possibly Molly or roofies.”

Women should be able to go to a public beach and not be drugged and raped. The article clearly states the victim was incapacitated. That means she can't give consent. That means rape. No question.

We absolutely do live in a rape culture when we warn girls how to dress, how to avoid rape, how to deal with men's advances, etc yet don't give our sons the same advice.

What I want to know is, who are the losers that are so pathetic they can't even get a sober woman to have sex with them. They need to drug a woman's drink in order to do the deed. Poor sad little men.

You would think so.

Here's a question for everyone.

Do you believe in the mob mentality of gang rapes? IOW, do you believe it when men say that otherwise good people get caught up in/pressured into this sort of crime, especially when the rapists in question are young men? I've heard that excuse quite a bit and I'm curious as to what others think.

I think its pretty much bull****. If you were a good person, you'd hightail it out of there and get the police or you'd stop the others from hurting the woman. Surely, men aren't this impressionable.

I think spring break should be stopped and or outlawed hell we have a law for everything else why the hell not spring break or make it no drinking on the beach . I mean how much more do the folks in this area have to put up with ? the area is always a waist land after the kids leave anyways why not just say no more spring break so familys can enjoy the beach year round ? goodness knows this past one should be enough .

Just because you don't personally know any better doesn't make it reality.

I know someone whose son came close to death last year from a "stranger danger" situation where they were incapacitated. You statements are offensive on many levels.
