A Collinsville, Ill., mother said she is outraged after finding out her 12-year-old son has been bullied by a classmate’s parent.
Nichole Beacoats is not sure how long her son has been bullied because he was afraid to speak up, but she now wants the mother who sent the messages to be held responsible.
The victim reportedly started receiving threatening voice texts when he did not want to date the woman’s daughter.
After realizing his younger brother was upset, 20-year-old Devon Dean tried to step in but also became a target of the suspect’s racially charged comments. In one message the woman called the two “big tough darkies.”
The principal where the victim and suspect’s daughter attend school said he cannot discuss individual cases.
Collinsville Police told News 4 they are taking the case very seriously.
The woman believed to be responsible for the messages did not respond to requests for comment from News 4.
