This just doesn't sit well with me. I don't think that Iranians chanting "Death to America!" should by downplayed by an American congressman. What is wrong with this guy?
American politicians don't want their constituencies to think too hard about Iran. If they did maybe they'd realize Iran's current situation and hatred of the USA is because of events that America and the UK set in motion in 1953. Better to pretend they don't really mean it, if you're a Democrat, or that they're a bunch of cavemen terrorists, if you're a repub.
Rethink it and what....go to war? They've been saying "death to America" in many countries for decades, what is it you think we should do about it?
The treaty is not some big favor we're bestowing on them..it's for our safety and Israel's, too, to try to keep them from further developing their nuclear program, which is already more highly developed than any other mid-eastern country.

Ignore them until they take some direct action and then unleash hell upon them.
I'm not talking about surgical strikes, I'm talking about dropping daisy cutters on their cities if they take any action against us.
Oh, and we need to not send them, or any other country for that matter, a single dime.

Amazing isn't it. Who are they trying to protect??? As they chanted "death to America" they were probably standing on our flag and burning it too. Why is it so important to so many politicians both Dem and Rep that America is a friend of Iran? They hate us for so many reasons just pull out. No treaty, No future aide. It is a dangerous place, always has been always will be.
They will happily take our money and nod their heads yes while crossing their fingers behind their backs. Iran has proven that they cannot be trusted, they don't care about anything PC so why keep trying? They must think Obama and Kerry are clowns.
Iranians have been doing this since the 70's. Does anyone really care? Iraqi's did this too but Republicans wanted to save and protect them. Do you want to save and protect the Iranians too?
