I like Jaime Foxx, but man he screw up big on this one
Quote:
Many fans found Jamie Foxx's performance during the Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao fight less than a knock-out on Saturday night.
The actor, 47, sang the national anthem during the much anticipated fight, leaving many less than impressed with his version of "The Star-Spangled Banner."
"The real fight was between Jamie Foxx and the national anthem," Twitter user Tommy Ross wrote about his performance.
Fight fans were not only unmoved with Foxx’s vocals, many shared their distaste for his “remix” of the song's melody

Wow. That was horrific and embarrassing. I like Jamie Foxx, but that was a jacked up hot mess.

Lol, I don't like Jamie Foxx, and I didn't think it was that bad. The beginning was the pits, but it got better as he went along.

As renditions of our national anthem go, I've heard worse. Much, much worse.

Goodness!

No chairs turn and Harry Connick walks out the room.

Sorry Jaime but you are no Marvin Gaye.

It was terrible. I didn't think that anything could "top" that one disgrace of a performance by Mary J. Blige:

To paraphrase someone's comment I saw elsewhere, if Beyoncé is sitting ringside why have Jamie Foxx sing the national anthem.

People that sing it differently don't have the talent to sing it correctly.
