I know every country has beliefs that may seem strange to outsiders and you can find polls in any country that makes that country look silly...but this seems really absurd.
72% is a strikingly high number.

I suppose that isn't that far removed from Nancy Pelosi saying that she talks to the ghosts of women's rights leaders and she still gets reelected.
And 54% of Republicans believe Obama is a Muslim. That's worse Icelanders believing in Elves. At least with Elves, one can argue that they have not been scientifically proven to not exists.
