I didn't think molesting a child has a statue of limitations? The Adam Walsh act, as I understand it, removed that in all 50 states and as far as I know the law applies retroactively (which is technically illegal).
It just seems strange to me that a child molester can get away with it, but a cop with kiddie porn gets half a century of prison time (which is probably more than a 17 year old child molester would get, despite the crime being obviously worse). Criminal justice in this country doesn't make sense most of the time, so this should come as no surprise, but still.
Either way, for him and his family sake and any one who may come in contact with him, I hope he no longer does any of that stuff, since he obviously can no longer be convicted. Bit odd that someone with that history would be going after 'sexual deviancy' though...
Inappropriate to Jim Bob is holding hands and kissing before marriage. So yeah I'm not taking pitchfork out to burn someone at the stake for having fornication desires.
