If you cann't trust the police who can you trust? All I can say we the public need to be wearing bulletproof vests because all these police shooting.

Officials confirmed Sunday that the man shot and killed by an Oklahoma state trooper Friday night did have a handgun on him.

Troopers were called out to rescue Nehemiah Fisher and his brother from high water on Hectorville Road in Okmulgee County Friday night. Officials said the brothers assaulted them. Brandon Fischer was arrested and charged with assault and public intoxication. Nehemiah Fischer was shot and killed during the altercation.

Assistant pastor and Police supporter.

Interesting story. Tons of details missing.

Like if they were need of rescue, why would an altercation ensue??

**Notation. If this was to be recorded, the man killed would be recorded as 'armed'

Going from a rescue to a killing is pretty wild, what a turn of events.

So far this year, 1 in 87143 police officers (14 of 1,220,000) has been killed in the line of duty.
1 in 828,311 Americans has been killed by a police officer (385 of 318,900,000).

A police officer is still an order of magnitude more likely to be killed than an American is likely to be killed by a police officer.

Why do people do this? Manipulating information to suit an agenda, all the while thinking people are too stupid to do their own math.

Police kill far more civilians than police are killed by them. Thats all that is required to know.

What we are being told is they were extremely intoxicated... non cooperative.. and fought with the troopers

Fighting with someone who is armed and who has the resolute duty to protect themselves while arresting those who break the law is never a good idea

Let's get more information before the usual crowd makes their usual proclamations of outright guilt before anything is released

If you think police aren't talking about current events and how and why to protect ourselves....well.. we are

No one wants to get hurt or killed or not go home...or end up in jail

Is the Ferguson effect taking hold everywhere.... maybe.. at least in a certain group of people. I certainly notice more resistance from those who are violating laws... as if what is going on politically will stop police from doing our jobs... in some placces it has....

I recall being in Oklahoma City one night and seeing a Drunk hit a parked train.

What I remember was his bumper sticker that said "Support your Local Police".

I thought that was fitting.
