Apparently there's a refugee crisis in Europe. Also in Australia.

World leaders accused of shameful failure over refugee crisis | World news | The Guardian

Should the European Powers create a refugee zone, maybe two, in Africa where these people can go? It could be administered by the Powers, be free of the various terror groups like Bokoharam and ISIS that are plaguing these people and the refugees could find, well, refuge there. Also it would be free of the various criminal gangs they have there.

One zone could be cut out of Libya/Algeria/Tunisia for the Arab country refugees and the other out of Cameroon/Nigeria/Gabon for the sub-Sahara country refugees.

Similarly, one of the Indonesian islands could be administered by Australia and maybe New Zealand to take care of the various Southeast Asian refugees.

I was reading yesterday that Italy is all upset that France closed their borders and won't accept refugees.
Some of the European countries have quietly resurrected border control.
European countries are being flooded with immigrants.

It's getting 0 coverage in the USA MSM news unless there is a single even where there was a very large loss of life like several thousand getting drowned at once. Horrible situation for all concerned and been going on for some time.

It's not something they can do a "drive by" with, doesn't involve a celebrity or sports figure, and is non-political, so they are not interested. And in general, they don't like to talk about illegal immigration nor people escaping the conditions faced by those in Black majority countries. i.e. Nelson Mandela was supposed to have fixed it all.

Most of these people are not genuine refugees but are economic migrants.

Invasion is invasion. Developed countries need to find their backbone and use it.

Funny thing is they are quietly but it goes against their mantra of multi culturalism and open borders.

That's true. The reason European countries are closing their borders is because the refugees are all drains on their welfare. We complain about our illegal problem, but at least our illegals are mostly Christian. Most of these refugees are Muslim and when too many come in (as what is happening in France especially) they push their agenda. Europe is finally saying enough to people who will never be productive citizens and will expect more as they take more.

So what you're saying is, European nations should set themselves up inside the territory of sovereign African nations and administer those areas in a manner they see fit? Kind of sounds like colonialism, doesn't it? (Mind you, I'm sort of yanking your chain here; I think that colonialism was, on balance, more beneficial for the majority of the residents than independence has been. But that's a topic for another thread.)

I think the European Union should establish a naval blockade, and make it very, very clear that any ship that tries to run it will be targeted and sunk. Heartless? Maybe. But the term I would apply is self-preservation.
