Medical pot is legal in what, about 38 states now? Yes, Alaska, Colorado, Washington and Oregon are the only states so far that have legalized recreational pot. DC did, but congress had a hissy fit and wouldn't let them. I think there are only about 10 states where it is a criminal offense to have a small quantity.
I remember a while back reading that sparklers were the #1 cause of fireworks injuries because they are the only ones your supposed to hold in your hand. I guess some people ain't satisfied with burnt fingers, they have to have their head blown off to have a happy 4th of July.
"Some people" can be relied on to do any number of stupid things. Most people use sparklers, and any holiday fireworks, without incident.
