When he went back to the car and called this in, I wonder how much information he received about Sandra's driving history that may have influenced him in his decision to say "get out of the car" which led to her refusal to do so and we all know the rest of the story.
I don't know that all her history would have popped up, but something caused his attitude to change. I'm sure he was watching her when he ran her plates. Whether it was while running her plates or while walking back to her car, he noticed something that made him suspicious. Personally, I think she swallowed her dope and was in dire need of a Big Gulp to wash it down with.

That's not in the report either.

Wouldn't he put that in the arrest report if that was the case? There's no indication of any specific suspicion.

I can't wait until folks start claiming this cop was a hero and the victim caused his own death
Deters: UC officer 'purposefully killed' DuBose

Not everything is put in the report. It all depends on what the department policy is considering reports.

Make a thread about it if you want to discuss it.

It depends on what you consider relevant data.

There probably already is one, and if not, we might as well discuss it here, the same people will participate in the discussion

I'm addressing whether that cop should have even bothered with 'put out the cig' at that point. Give her the warning and drive away. The only reason he gave her that last 'lawful' order was that he didn't like her attitude. As soon as she said, '... so now I'm done, yea,' her goose was cooked. Just listen to his voice as he asked [told ?] her to put out the cig. He was fed up with her actually telling him she was irritated, and why. Ego, power, and accustomed to 100% obedience.
You're a mind reader now? Have you walked in mile in any cops shoes? Or even one step? I doubt it. You weren't there. You didn't see the subtle body language, or verbal inflection that years of experience tell a cop what they need to know.

But nothing anyone says will ever convince you that all cops aren't evil. You've made up your mind that they're the enemy, and nothing will change that. I get it.
