Supporters of the confederate flag have their own message to send to President Obama.

In Durant, Okla. Wednesday morning, trucks lined up awaiting his arrival, and now supporters are in Bricktown.

Supporters want to let the President know the Confederate flag, they say, stands for heritage, not hate. The organizer of the event is someone you might not expect to see standing behind this cause.

“We don’t believe it’s a symbol of racism,” Andrew Duncomb, an organizer in Oklahoma City who calls himself “the Black Rebel” says.

“Again, look at these people, they all followed the black guy out here. Do you think that any of them are racists?” Duncomb says.

I find this refreshing. To many southerners the rebel flag means home.

You're always going to have a few uncle toms out there. Who cares? 95% of black people do not and will not support the Confederacy and it's flag and of course, what it stands for(White supremacy).

Oklahoma? He probably has a Cherokee ancestor who fought for the south. Or, he hates the government. Who knows. Different strokes for different folks I suppose.

Actually I happened to watch the news that night and several of the people waving confederate flags were black. At least in the group in OKC. The ones in Durant were all white though.

Hard to believe Obama went to Durant OK where he would have few supporters and not very well liked.

Must have had a golf date at the Indian Casino Golf Course.

Yeah, 95% of black people live on the democratic party plantation.
