Him winning this case is like winning an award for being the tallest midget in the circus.
He's still a big time loser and in jail for the rest of his life.
What a jerk, he had it all and threw it away. It was exciting to see him set up with Gronk on the Patriots offensive line.
The not guilty verdict must have been a blow to the murdered victims families but at least they had some comfort that he was heading back to prison and not walking out a free man.

Can you imagine the Pats with Hernandez and their current lineup???

Not so fast.......If that hot shot lawyer can get his other murder conviction overturned the Patriots would have no choice but to reinstate him with all back pay and bonus money.
He'll stay in shape at the prison gym and be as good as new for 2018....woo hoo

Not going to happen. Overwhelming evidence will never see that conviction overturned. Also that money was not guaranteed. He won't see a dime of that. The only way he is getting out of prison is in a pine box, as it should be.

Complete nonsense.
The Patriots cut Hernandez. NFL teams are not only allowed to cut players because of convictions - they can release any player at any time for any reason. Were this not the case then the Patriots could not have cut Aaron Hernandez in 2013, two years before he was convicted of murder.
Per the last contract extension Hernandez signed, he was guaranteed his base salary in 2013 and 2014 and workout bonuses in 2014 and 2015. None of these payments contained a 'failure to report' clause. He received those payments, which totaled some $2 million and change, after he was released by the team.
I have no idea why you think he is due bonus money from the Patriots for performance thresholds that he was unable to receive not because he was released but because he was incarcerated by the state of Massachusetts. He's not.
Technically, Aaron Hernandez is a free agent. No NFL team currently has any rights to him or any financial or contract obligations regarding him whatsoever.
Oh, and... 'hot shot lawyer'? He's rich. He's already bought the best criminal defense money can buy. But given certain evidence, all the money and legal defense in the world isn't going to avoid a conviction. And that's obviously the situation in this instance. The tangible evidence in the murder of Odin Lloyd (unlike in the Boston double homicide, which largely rested in testimony from a suspect witness) was extensive. Hernandez is not going to get exonerated. If, somehow, his conviction were overturned on some technicality, he'd just be retried and reconvicted.
