The only thing stupider than their behavior is the "defense" being offered by their lawyer. The taxpayers of that city should be demanding better from their police department. Breaking in? Refusing to show a warrant? Demanding the medical records of patients? And then they eat the evidence?
Most cops were 'C' students in HS, that's why they're cops.
Why? Because you're not obtaining while you fight for the right you are using while you wait. You are endangering your family and yourself by dealing in illegal activity. If you love living where you are at, and it's illegal to smoke pot there you have two choices. Refrain from smoking pot until it's legal or become a criminal for your love of pot.
Just because it's legal in two states doesn't mean you are not looked at as a criminal aiding drug dealers in your state. You'd have to move if you want to rid yourself of that label or stop smoking it. You can fight for the right without being stoned while you do it. Why put the cart before the horse? Aren't you worried about the consequences of your actions? People who purchase illegal drugs get injured and killed all the time, because of where you get it from. If you grow your own and get caught you could be put in jail. Doesn't that bother you a bit?
I also exceeded the speed limit on my way to work, does that make me a criminal, too?
I'm afraid you watch way too many movies, I'm not going into inner cities or back alleys, no one is being endangered. It helps my ADD and enhances my life, so be it I will choose to be a "criminal", if you insist, while working to change the laws.
