Absolutely not. This isn't a case of a 18 yo and a 17 yo kids. This is a full grown adult man who had full use of his faculties sexually molesting children and watching kiddie porn.

But I can't help feeling sorry for Jared. His life ruined for one mistake.
My girlfriend was 17 and I was 18 when we started dating. I could have been put in Jared's shoes by the Feds too. But I'm not famous.
I guess you haven't read what he plead guilty for. It wasn't just one incident. He slept with an underage escort, then asked for the next time to be even younger girls like 13 or 14. He watched videos his employee and friend made of young girls using the bathroom and undressing, kids they met through his charity. He viewed pornographic images from foreign countries of kids as young as 6. I don't feel sorry for him at all. He got off too light if you ask me.
No I don't feel sorry for him at all he deserves to do some time, he won't miss out completely though he'll have more 6 inchers than he'll know what to do with and even a few foot longs. What goes around comes around.
