Good riddance....Hope she shot him in the dick first so he suffered...

Oakland is a hell hole and "police brutality" is the last thing the people in that city need to worry about....

Hmmm It sounds like she didn't have much choice. She gets hit in face with chain and before he can give her another whack she shoots him. Police are trained to shoot the torso not the legs, the torso being a larger target with more knock down force.
What if she tried to spare the life of this thug by shooting him in the leg, she missed and the bullet hits an innocent person?
What if she did hit him but he kept coming whacked her again and now he has her gun?

It is too bad the guy died because I'm sure he was a good boy a very good boy that just had anger issues when he took drugs or drank too much. Perhaps he was an inspiring rapper?

Life is all about CHOICE. He choose to hit the cop. if under the influence when he did it He choose to take those drugs. The officer choose a tough line of work and that day she choose to live and stopped someone from attacking her.

Sounds pretty simple. I think we would all choose life if faced with a chain to the face.

Exactly. If someone has to bear the burden of someone's poor choices it should be the person that made the bad choice to begin with, that includes unintended consequences from their behavior.
