I wonder if she'll take the coward's way out and simply allow her staff to start issuing licenses tomorrow while she hides out in her office. Gonna be real hard to recoup that tasty 80k salary otherwise.

That's not cowardly at all. Let the staff do it as they always had the ability to. If that is what needs to be done in order for the couple's to get their licenses then so be it.
If she wants to she can verbally abuse them the entire time as long as she is getting those licenses done. She can call them slurs while hoping they die in a fire. All that matters is that she has those licenses done.
No. Considering that she took it upon herself to instruct her entire staff to follow her own personal directive and not issue licenses for the past two months, and has now dragged this through the court system all the way up to SCOTUS, I would consider it incredibly cowardly if she were to suddenly change her position overnight and finally do what she should have done two months ago. It would send a very strong message that money is her final driving factor, not her faith.

I don't blame her and taking a paycheck. She drove it out to the bitter end. You can't win so she can be as much of a PITA as possible. Just because you think it's cowardly doesn't mean it is. It's more childish than cowardly.
It's more than fair to delegate her staff to do it. You wanting her to stand their and issue the license herself is overkill and quite frankly silly. The gays in Rowan County, KY can get their gay marriages. Move on for pete's sake. They dragged it out while others probably went to another county and got married and have been happily married for a while now. At the end of the day, it's Rowan County, KY. Bless all of those residents' hearts.

The SC has turned her away. As an elected official, it is her job to follow the Constitution, not the Bible.
