BTW, one of my high school classmates is a "transgender" person. She is not "mentally ill." I know this because I know her.

BTW, I am a clinically trained experienced mental health counselor.

Homosexual, Bi-Sexual, Transgender persons are not "that way" due to "mental illness."

I agree.

I have the solution! Every school has a handicapped bathroom for students that need a larger space for wheelchairs and handrails. These bathrooms are near the special education classrooms or nurses office and accomodate one person. They are very much like the "family bathroom" you see in some department stores. The student should be told to use this bathroom and then no one is offended. The student has privacy because the bathroom has a regular door on it that can be locked. ( I am not talking about a handicapped stall in a restroom with six other stalls) Everyone including the student is now comfortable and no one is offended!

Install one or two totally private ones. There aren't that many transgender around for this to be a real problem.

Then you let her play on the girls basketball or volleyball teams. It's a game, not a sex show.

Where are the schools supposed to find the funding to do this?

You like what you like.
If you where born a male, and like women you are hetrosexual but you are still a male.
If you were born a male and like other males you are homosexual but still a male.
If you were born a male but feel like a woman, then you are transgender but still a male , at least until you have the operation. So to take it even further, a transgender person (for this conversation I will use a male feeling like a woman) can still like either sex. Male , Female , another transgender person. So what then ? If they like males, are they then a transgender homosexual ? If they like women does that make them hetrosexual ? Either way until this hypothetical person gets the operation , they are still male which in my mind requires them to use the mens bathroom.

Am I seeing this right or not ? Is it more complex ?

The problem is this tranny is a nothing more than a gay man with a wig on and believe it or not many gay men ARE SEXUALLY attracted to women. There is nothing "passable" about him.

Some trannies can look uber fem which might put them in a dangerous situation using the mens locker room. This IS NOT the case with this guy. If I was a woman I don't think I'd want this guy in the locker room with me either.
