If she wanted a fade, why did he refuse to cut her hair? I've known women who get very short hair cuts in men's barbershops...I dunno, I think he should have cut her hair.
As ridiculous as it sounds, businesses are not allowed to discriminate someone because of their gender. Men's barbershop included.
In this case though doing so destroys thr market niche he was trying to fill. Must a woman's gym be forced to accept straight men ogling their base clientele as well as gay men and the transgendered? If so than one angry man can destroy that business either through his presence or by deputizing the government to fine that Curves franchise out of existence.

“Guys come here as a kind of a little getaway, to be around other guys. My hands are tied. They are forcing me to do this and telling me how to do my business,” Interval said.
Yet he has a female on staff, and allows women to wait while their husbands or sons get haircuts. So, this is not a man only getaway anyways. Honestly he could have done her cut and had her out the door in 10 minutes.
