Grim details of Bella Bond’s life, death described at arraignment

Bella Bond’s mother told police that she knew the girl was dead when she came into her room one night in late May and saw her gray, swollen face, a prosecutor said in court Monday. Michael McCarthy was allegedly standing over the 2½-year-old, who had been unruly and unwilling to go to bed.

The grim new details of the girl’s death emerged in Dorchester Municipal Court as a judge held McCarthy without bail on a murder charge. The girl’s mother, Rachelle D. Bond, was held on $1 million bail on a charge that she was an accessory after the fact to the killing.

Accused killer claimed Bella Bond was ‘demon,’ prosecutors say - The Boston Globe

Why didn't this 'friend' run to the police with what he witnessed.

This precious child, never stood a chance.

In the article the POS was said to be into the occult, demons, exorcisms and ghosts. I hope he's not trying to set up an insanity defense.

Shameful...

How a father found out that Boston’s 'Baby Doe' was his daughter

SNIPPED

One person who might have recognized her and spoken up says he never saw the image. Joseph Amoroso, 32, told the Boston Globe that he showed up in Boston several weeks ago hoping to meet his daughter, 2½ year old Bella Bond, for the first time. But the girl’s nervous-looking mother, Rachel Bond, kept telling him Bella was out of the city.

How a father found out that Boston

Any updates on this case / trial? They had a hearing 11/19 but I never heard what the outcome of this was. I don't believe for a second that Rachelle was just an "accessory to a homicide after the fact". Even her older sister (Bella's aunt) says so: http://www.telegram.com/article/20150922/NEWS/150929698 I bet Rachelle helped her boyfriend and was high at the time.
Poor Bella... she never had a chance. What kind of family would she be raised by had she lived? Everyone in her life was a junkie from her mother to every man in her mother's life. Her biological father looks sketchy, too. My heart breaks for this poor child who never had a chance.

The idea of the "family" has been under attack and slowly destroyed since the 60s.

Anything and everything goes yet few are willing to accept that the social experiments are failures. When two men sit at the table telling a young boy that they are both his father and a mother isn't needed, how can anyone wonder why these things happen?

Father today, woman tomorrow. Two mothers, two fathers, no fathers or mothers and the best our society can do is applaud a fraud like Jenner and make them out to be some hero.

No one held accountable for anything, say anything and do anything because it is always someone else's problem because they don't understand what you mean, society is rotting from the inside out.

Legalize drugs because it is easier than not doing it, lie to become elected officials because everything was taken out of context or misstated or better yet, everyone else misunderstood.

Welcome to the world you want because look around and see who is against any form of accountability unless it directly affects them.

Moms boyfriend is statistically the person most likely to harm a young child. I wish more men would realize this and step up. Either marry the woman or seek custody, whether full, or partial.

Fathers are important. If you are not ready to be one, you are just as responsible for preventing it as she is. Poor baby. This makes me sad.

Mack, this story doesn't have anything at all to do with a same sex couple getting high on legal marijuana. Nothing. This is a reach, even for you.

This little girl never had a chance. Her mother was a junkie and all of the men in the mother's life were also junkies and low-lives. Prior to this last boyfriend who murdered little Bella, the mother had a boyfriend who would routinely expose himself to Bella in an "effort to potty train the toddler".
The biological father, with a lengthy criminal record in FL and now caught stealing in MA, is making excuses for the mother. For some reason, I don't think he cares too much about the biological daughter he never met.

Why was capital punishment abolished in MA? No amount of punishment could ever make this right. This little girl had no chance at a decent life, whatsoever. This world is beyond cruel and sad. There is way too much suffering going on in the world today. There is just so much wrong in today's world.
