It was about 8:30 a.m. when Marilyn Williams heard a commotion outside her Clovis, California home. She looked outside her window and saw a stranger wearing a hoodie and bandanna.

She grabbed her gun and confronted the men.

“I kept yelling, ‘I’m going to shoot you.’ I said. ‘I’m going to shoot you,'” said Williams.

Williams did not shoot the man, but her actions caused to crook to drop a pillowcase full of jewelry, belonging to the elderly couple.
