An example of why it makes sense to keep a firearm in your home.

You won't often get the drop on the bad guys this way but if you do you clearly have the tactical advantage.

Well played, Mrs. Williams.

Quote:
It was about 8:30 a.m. when Marilyn Williams heard a commotion outside her Clovis, California home. She looked outside her window and saw a stranger wearing a hoodie and bandanna.

She grabbed her gun and confronted the men.

“I kept yelling, ‘I’m going to shoot you.’ I said. ‘I’m going to shoot you,'” said Williams.

Williams did not shoot the man, but her actions caused to crook to drop a pillowcase full of jewelry, belonging to the elderly couple.

Good for her.

(Consider: Since she didn't fire, this incident won't
be counted as a "Defensive use of a firearm.")
