If Obama threatens "Executive Action,"
they'll sell twenty million more.
Fear. It is the American way. Hilarious. People are still talking about Obama taking their guns and he has been in office for 7 years. Obama overturned a 20-year ban on loaded guns in national parks and wildlife refuges. Licensed gun owners from any state can now carry concealed, loaded weapons on federal land.
Ten months later, as part of an omnibus spending bill, Obama reversed a decade-long ban on transporting firearms by train. Amtrak travelers can now carry unloaded, locked weapons in their checked baggage.
These actions, and others, are what earned Obama an "F" from the Brady Center for Gun Violence in 2010 for "extraordinary silence and passivity" on gun control. But Obama saw the moves differently.
Maybe people should actually read what goes on instead of spreading nonsense and fear mongering. Obama isn't taking anyone's guns. Guns are the American way. We have no religion anymore, it is about shooting others. Just look at the news.

Fear of government action? You bet. Obama did call for an assault weapon ban among other things. The an on firearms on federal property was outright unconstitutional, he doesnt get any credit for that, same can be said for Amtrak.
The real threat is from the states. My state had some pretty dangerous laws they were looking to pass last year.
Much to the socialists/communists chagrin, Obama has been the best thing to happen for firearms sales. If Hillary were to get elected, sales will go through the roof.

There are many of us who are both Democrats and gun owners.
Back in 2009 after Obama got elected, they were buying up all the guns and ammo by the billion, because they thought Obama would confiscate them all. I wonder what is the reason for the surge in sales now. What is it that they are afraid of this time?
Maybe they're concerned about the state of the country. The on purpose race baiting done by the media to get people against each other.
Or that Obama can under Executive Order suspend the elections if the country is in turmoil due to an attack or other issues.
It's amazing, how many Americans are unaware that elections can be suspended. You tell them that and they say "oh, that can't happen"....actually it can.

There is no reason nor has there ever been a reason to suspect that this President or any past President has ever contemplated suspending any Presidential election.

If you told people in 1999 that planes would fly into the WTC and this country would be attacked they would have thought you were crazy and said "that will never happen".

I guess you're another one isn't aware that there is an Executive Order, that does just this.
Fear sells. Many scared people. Then they let em'(guns) sit around and some mental case gets a hold of one, making the rest of us fear the stupidity of the original scared person. Vicious cycle.
Interesting that people in Europe are buying guns like crazy too, because of the illegals flooding their borders and raping the women. Mostly women buying the guns.
If I had the power as president, I would create incentives for schools to have mandatory gun safety training .
Remove all data bases with gun ownership of tax paying US citizens.
If serious training is in place for children to under stand the function of the gun 1,curiosity would be gone. 2 knowing it's potential can create respect much like looking both ways before crossing the street.
3. Fear no longer is the teacher but a good respect goes a long ways.
4. A person that is not a tax payer , should not have the rights as a citizen .
Only Citizens should have equal rights as citizens , illegals should not be sharing the same rights .
5.Since a data base of the where a bouts of guns and citizens it can jeopardize them in the event of an invasion.
