The fire has spread to all floors, and all sides of the building.

Nothing definitive yet on what caused it.

Reports that a loud explosion preceded the first flames.

It has been burning about 2 hours.

NO reported casualties

Speculation that it may have been caused by fireworks, other speculation that it was purposeful arson.

Guests are believed to have been evacuated.

Speculation that the building will soon collapse

This is "The Address" luxury hotel / residence hotel.

It is near the famed Burj Khalifa, but it is a different building.

I am surprised they allowed the fireworks to go off while the fire was occurring. Seems very reckless to me, what if there was a issue with the fireworks causing another fire.

Daesh ("ISIS") has praised the fire, but have not taken credit for the fire.

While there is only one reported death, I suspect that they don't necessarily count the workers as real people and bother to keep account of them.

Everything I've run across is about efforts to evacuate guests.

How can fire spread so quickly? These are modern structures. Very suspicious.
