Florida Woman Wakes to Find Exotic Kinkajou Caressing Her Face: Friend | KTLA

Quote:
Late Monday night, the woman was startled when she woke up staring at a kinkajou, which looks like a cross between a raccoon and monkey.

The woman, who has not been named in reports, screamed in panic and the animal scurried away into the attic, according to a Cathy Moghari, a family friend who helped rescue the animal. Moghari came over to the house to try to catch the feisty 2-foot-long creature, which she recognized as a kinkajou because of her experience with exotic animals, according to CNN affilaite WPLG.

Me too! It's great the story had a happy-ending with neither the woman nor the animal getting harmed.

Well, there are probably much worse things that could wake you up in the middle of the night, not to mention creatures of the human variety. Glad it turned out ok for both parties.

My sister once woke up to an iguana in bed with her. She screamed bloody murder and scared the crap out of me at 3AM. She says she thought it was a corn cob at first. A 3' long corn cob, I guess.

I was going to ask if alcohol was involved, but I see they have it's picture.

He is cute, Glad neither him nor the woman were harmed. While he was just was curious or playing around, I would be startled too. Though better this then waking up to a stranger standing at the foot of the bed or in the bed. Little is scarier then that I think.
