I will be the only one on Earth not watching. *tumbleweed floats by* I hope each and every one of you gets your wish and your team wins. lol
I'm with you... I don't watch the game either. Neither my father or two brothers were into sports, so I never took an interest in the game. My husband's favorite sport to watch is football, so he watches football ALL day every Sunday, and I just do my own thing.

That sucks! Sorry you had to contend with that. Glad that you no longer have that stress in your life.
I'll be watching since it's in my backyard and my nephew will be on the field during the halftime show. I doubt I'll see him, but I'm excited anyway.
Oh, and I'm rooting for PM and the Broncos
It's not just North Carolina ... they're the Carolina Panthers. So SC claims them as well, though most people associate them with NC. They don't "belong" to a city, but they play in Charlotte. And they've been around since 1993 (started playing in '95). It's their second time in the Super Bowl.

This is the Panthers 2nd trip to the Superbowl.
Thanks, both of you, for the explanations. Even if I don't follow football, it helps to not sound like a complete moron when sports come up in conversation at work.

Thanks, and yes, those days are behind. Everything is temporary.

I do other interesting things with my time off vs. trying to stop the sofa from blowing away. I even throw a few low blows when people start chattering about the bread and circus they just spent four hours watching.
I'm 53 years old and have never watched one in its entirety. Not interested. I think those of us not interested in football outnumber those that do. Only 114,000,000 people watched it last year in the U.S. so about 1/3 of the population?

That's impossible. They're not in it.
