So true. she should have spent her time writing a law to get the government's hands off women's bodies.
That would have made more sense and would have been constructive instead of wasting tax payers money.

When it comes to defending a women's right to be able to make decisions that will impact her life, for her entire life; a punitive action would approximate an equal disruption in the life of the man that impregnated her. 18 years to life.
My reply was to the statement above: "What she's doing just to be punitive ..."
It still wasn't a punitive act
She isn't the one "giving an impotent man the [possible] ability to "get and maintain an erection", as I've already pointed out. She is the one making it harder to take advantage of the drugs allowing for it. She didn't give anything to men. Her bill, if passed, would make it more difficult to get what men in other states acquire more easily, as payback for men who have passed bills enacting laws regarding women and their bodies. I'm not sure why that's so hard for you to understand.
I've known of men who had to have their wife's signature to get a vasectomy. I don't know if it was a law in their state, or just something their doctor required. But I thought it was odd.
My doctor asked me if I was married when I wanted to get my tubes tied. I asked him why he wanted to know and he said I would have to get my husband's permission. I told him I was divorced. I was in the process, but not yet finalized. Pissed me right off!
And in New Jersey, our left leaning legislature churns out restrictive laws that make no sense as well. We The People can not win. The powers that be want to micromanage our lives. This guy can not be a true conservative. No true conservative would want big government.
When are Republicans going to realize that fiscal conservatives and social conservatives are not the same thing and their aims are often counterproductive?

That's been tried and hasn't been too successful in recent years. The loudest small-government voices in the nation are strangely silent when it comes to women's privacy in their doctors' offices.

Yes! Where is Hobby Lobby when insurance companies are funding MEN having sex? Because these men who are buying Viagra aren't ALL using it with their wives. And isn't that a sin?
It would be even better if she had included that Viagra can't be paid for by insurance.
When they came out with Viagra, the insurance companies rushed to cover it, at a time when birth control meds were not covered generally. THAT is why women began being able to have birth control covered by insurance. Those righteous organizations that don't want to cover birth control in their insurance should also not be covering ED medications... without which, women wouldn't need the birth control they are so desperate to keep from having to cover.
It was a stupid way to waste taxpayers money, but that's the way it is with stupid people.
Oh, please!
It probably took her about a half-hour or less to either write or type something out.
It was never intended to be serious.
It was intended to make a point.
She's far from stupid.
