Apparently, this Roo was banned from the WBC for biting off the ear of his opponent in their last fight.
..........unless they are about to attack, or have rabies. ........
Can marsupials get rabies? I thought that was strictly a mammal disease.
Mote point, anyway, if that film was in Australian because Australia is rabies free.
Either that is a very big man or a small kangaroo. Perhaps an inexperienced juvenile kangaroo? Whatever it is, I agree that the man got away awfully lucky that the kangaroo was so surprised that he stopped.
Or else the kangaroo stopped defending itself when the dogs moved away and the man backed off.
You're right. I stand corrected. I looked closer when another poster mentioned the blood on the dog's shoulders. Well, at least he didn't hit the kangaroo hard enough to knock it down or really hurt it. The 'roo looks more startled than anything.

What this video to see what a grip like that would do.
Yeah....no you wouldn't have. You would have went in for a second swing and the 'roo probably would have split your guts open.
You could have gotten in ten punches in the delayed reaction that roo had. I probably would have shot it or stabbed it. That guy was nice, he was on a hunting trip and just punched it.

Marsupials are mammals. There are three types of mammals: placentals (with placentas, giving birth to relative large young), marsupials (which lack placentas, are born very early, and further develop in a maternal pouch) and monotremes (egg-layers - the only extant species are playtpuses and echidnas).
