This is so funny! After this man has tried to sue the DMV for wasting his time. He got his payback. He came to settle up with wheelbarrows full of pennies. Took 12 hours to count.

So he wasted the time of the DMV employees who had to count his pennies when they could have been taking care of other people. Why punish them? They don't make the stupid rules. Imagine being stuck in the line behind him. Not so funny.

No, not funny, idiotic. It's like getting revenge on a surgeon by making a mess for the hospital janitor to clean up.

At least he didn't coat the pennies in molasses beforehand. That would have presented a problem.

Sounds like a real winner who lives a rich and fulfilling life!

It must be tons of fun to work at the DMV and have to deal with that kind of clown day in and day out ...

probably made their day easier to count the pennies vs listening to other people's problems

what was that? sorry, I can't help you, counting pennies. do you have the correct forms? ask someone else, I'm counting pennies. your license expired and you need a new one? get in line, I'm counting pennies. How long will this take? I'm sure I can take all week for this, can you come back next friday?

the trick about these things, don't let it get to you if someone wants to waste time, go ahead, your time is being paid for so it makes no difference

I get his anger this is why people are sick and tired of giving tax money to see it spent foolishly. The only way to fix MVDs is to outsource it like they did in my state. Now I can go to one of 100's small MVD's which operated in strip centers and are open 7 days a week 8am-10pm. They charge an extra $20 for most transactions but I'm happy to pay the $20 fee not to sit in a a waiting room for hours. My state closed several state operated MVD's due to the private companies that took over. He would have been much better off collecting signatures to pass a law to outsource MVD's.

Thats true. This guy spent nearly $2,000, and who nows how many hours, on his revenge. And what did he get out of it? I doubt he cost the DMV any extra money, but rather wasted the time of employees and other costumers that had nothing to do with his grievances.
