A Kansas City nurse says she was forced to urinate into a plastic a cup at her seat on a United flight after attendants barred her from using the plane's lavatory.
Nicole Harper shared the humiliating story — which occurred April 9, the same day that 69-year-old David Dao was injured while being dragged off a United flight — in a Facebook post Saturday.
Harper said attendants would not let her go to the bathroom because the captain had turned on the seat belt sign around the midpoint of her flight.
The "fasten seat belt" light was on. I've been on plenty of flights where I needed to pee, but knew I had to wait until that light went off. It's no big deal.
Again, it's from msn.com, where if a feature isn't attacking the President, it's usually geared to the myriad of insecurities among over-sheltered adolescents, simply because that's where the discretionary spending is easiest to solicit.
Want to bet whether the coverage will be as intense if the story is debunked?

Where it came from isn't as great a factor as the mostly-immature-and-insecure audience for whom it's intended.

Well, actually, you are wrong. Many people have urological conditions that prevent them from "holding it". Many times, these conditions were actually caused, or exacerbated because these people had, earlier in life, been forced to "hold it"...for example, when in school or church. It is excruciatingly painful, and dangerous.
I do not understand why airlines still insist on those huge, cumbersome drink carts & meal carts on board...that is one of the problems, they block up the aisles for a ridiculous length of time. Just put a bin of bottled water by the entrance to the plane & every passenger grabs one. If the flight is excessively long, do a sandwich bin, although, unless we are talking about a child, a nursing mother, or someone with a medical condition such as diabetes, meals on board are not really necessary...the food is awful, anyway. And NO ONE needs a damn cocktail & bag of pretzels on an airplane!

Anyone that has such a medical condition should be prepared, especially going into situations where they KNOW there will be no opportunity to use restroom facilities 'at will', such as during landing and takeoff in a plane.
If you have such a condition, then you should be prepared and wear one of the many incontinence products on the market. And if your urge to pee is so great that you have to ignore FAA regulations put in place for your own safety, perhaps flying isn't for you.
But to be honest, I don't believe the story for one minute. I think she's just someone jumping on the "evil airlines" bandwagon with her own made up story, looking for attention.
Also, if she has a bad bladder she should have selected a seat near a bathroom or worn adult diapers. When i get on a plane i make sure i pee before getting on or pee before sitting on my seat.
The fact that she peed in a cup is gross.
She was united flight 6056. Missouri to Texas = 1h 50m total flight time
Also, this story makes no SENSE. 30 mins into the flight she has to pee. Flight attendants tell her no and she advises them that if she can't use the bathroom she will need to pee in the cup. They give her a cup and she does the deed. After she does the deed, flight attendants escort her to the bathroom to empty the pee cups. Why not just let her use the bathroom in the 1st place?
Airline is saying she tried using the bathroom during final descent. Oh boy! He said; she said story.
