When I googled this looking for a good story there was a similar money clip for $30. I don't think Prada is even original with this idea.
This screams new money. The type of person who makes a cool $200 grand a year, but has no real assets to speak of and rent and luxury car lease use up most of their paycheck.
My dad had a colleague/friend who was old money Connecticut. He never used credit cards and just kept a wad of cash in his corduroy sport jacket rolled up with a rubber band.
