Sociopathology, that's what.

The only good thing about this story is that these girls were stupid enough to video what they were doing, otherwise they may never have been caught. I'm always amazed how people who do these types of things seem to think everyone else is going to enjoy seeing what they're doing, and shower them with 'likes'.
I have no clue as to a proper punishment for them, but I doubt if any penalties are going to do any good at this point. The scary part is, they are probably going to have kids someday.

I hope the dog is ok, and out of harms way.

^^ I sometimes blame the parents for ignoring signs of child sociopathology and letting things get out of hand.

When I was little, I used to play with my cousin. He would capture little animals and torture them. I used to cry and told my parents and his parents. All the adults simply dismissed it saying they were just animals. Then he went on to kicking and beating my dog. I cried about it and told my parents and his. His parents dismissed it saying it was just a dog. No biggie.

He is now serving a life sentence for murder.

I know parents always want to think the best about their kids. But so many do it the wrong way. To this day, I am convinced that had his parents taken it seriously and intervened, he would not have ended up murdering someone and spending the rest of his life in prison.

Studies show that psychopathic killers started out torturing animals. In fact, it's one of the tell tale signs.

^^ Your parents and his parents are horrible people. What normal person thinks it's okay for anyone to torture animals?

That's why I said some times peoples need to see their children in the best light possible blind them from potential problems. I remember back then every time I complained the adults would dismissed it as just me being a silly kid. Unfortunately, it's also a cultural thing. I grew up in a culture where kids opinions aren't that valued.

Had the adults listened to me back then, perhaps they could have gotten him help or something. But they let his sociopathic behavior continue to exist and propagate within him. But again, cultural attitude ensured that my warnings were ignored simply because I was a silly little kid.

I'm sure these two girls parents are trying to justify their actions right now as just kids being kids because it's just a dog. Again, sometimes parents love for their kids blind them from potential problems in their kids.

Default footage emerges of a teenager girl using an aerosol can and lighter to set fire to a dog.

People who mistreat animals get a "special place" on my sh*t list.

Girls can be sociopaths, and incredibly cruel. Usually, though, it's to other girls.

It's highly unusual - I'll repeat the word bizarre - for two early teen girls to torture an animal.
