Maybe an urban legend but I seem to recall hearing about a dumber-than-usual bank robber demanding money at a cashier window. When the clever cashier started stalling and asked how he wanted it, he directed her to deposit it into his account. Handed her his ID and a deposit slip for that same bank!

When he gets out, he'll get hired by Walmart.

This particular shoplifter just gave HR all of his personal information forty minutes before shoplifting. Maybe he is related to your bank robber?

After re-reading some of these clever posts

Seriously I can't fathom being that stupid or being related to such a low I.Q individual. I thought Forest was only in the movies?

Was this guy sober?

Talk about stepping on your d**k

This group might like this true story, from a lawyer friend of mine.

So this teenager had a wealthy grandma...that bought her a fur coat...the teen goes shopping at the Mall...
but the tags are dangling from the coat.
The Security guy man-handles her as she is sassy and fighting back (Ha, thus, bruising!)...he yanks her into the office, police are called...Grandma comes down there.

OMG did that girl ever get a huge settlement for being falsley accused and hurt!!
Boston in the 70s...I forgot the amount, but it was very impressive. Bobby Fireman was her lawyer, I think.
He's still in Boston area. Handsome back then...

I was recently at a Racetrac gas station. I think they are usually well run, good prices and clean. Manager who NEVER is on the floor (must be a back office guy) is interviewing a prospective employee out front next to the beer cooler. Asking some pretty thought provoking questions like: When was a time you were recognized for doing a good deed? Kid was probably not getting hired (he had a neck AND small face tattoo). I didn't hear his answer but the next question was Why do you want to be a Racetrac team member? Answer: I want to be a cashier, stock the shelves. Clearly didn't understand the question.

Hiring is tough in a lot of industries. I have had employees that I would give a key to my house to and I have had employees that I hoped didn't know where I lived!

This hiring story gone wrong sadly is probably more common than you think!

Here is one with a worse ending:
https://www.palmbeachpost.com/news/2...alm-police-say

Guy works for Fedex, gets caught stealing on the job. Decides to come back to the route and steal....charges include:
three counts of robbery with a firearm, one count of kidnapping with a firearm and two counts of false imprisonment with a firearm,

Victim recognized the guy's voice as "the guy that used to do my route, he trained me!"

Fedex would probably be a good gig for someone with no education, long term employment and solid pay are bonuses!
