A woman in Pennsylvania is speaking out against the restaurant chain Golden Corral after getting kicked out of its Eerie, Pa., location because of her outfit.
Sueretta Emke took to her Facebook to share her grievances from a visit to the family-style restaurant where she went with her husband, son and some friends to celebrate her son’s birthday. However, the group didn’t have the dining experience that they anticipated since they were ultimately asked to leave.
I think Golden Coral was scared she would eat them out of their profits OR maybe they were concerned for their other customers who probably got sick from seeing her gut.
From a legal standpoint, I don't know if Golden Corral was right or wrong. I do know that I wouldn't have gone with this young lady to a restaurant dressed in that outfit. I would have given a reason she and the rest of the group needed to go on without me. Never would I have embarrassed her in any way, but to be seen with her in public would be embarrassing for me.
I have no idea why that outfit was out of line, especially for a place like Golden Corral.. They have no dress code, pretty safe bet others have dressed worse, and suddenly they enact a dress code when one did not exist before?
They were wrong and I applaud the woman for standing up for herself.

She's a very easy person to like. I do think that top was a mistake, but I agree with crd08 who bragged that she could wear that outfit and not be kicked out. No one knows what that poster actually looks like, but I think if an attractive, thin young woman wore it, it wouldn't be an issue.
Golden Corral is the Walmart of restaurants. I can't believe that's the most unappealing looking person there that day.
Maybe the manager was just damn sick and tired of seeing people at his restaurant who look like they eat at Golden Corral a lot.
Interesting, a meme on her page says:
"More people would learn from their mistakes if they weren't so busy denying them". Um hm. I think she needs to take that to heart.
Actually, I do not think that top was meant to be a 'cropped top' - it was too small and tight for her size, so it became a cropped top. First world problems.
