They’re not going under for something like this. Too many loyal customers. Have you ever tried their ice cream? It’s damn good!

They might add seals, but they won't go under because of this. They survived a listeria recall, for Pete's sake. That's much worse than one idiot doing something she shouldn't.

I swear ... we'll have to have tamper-proof packaging on everything now because people a re a-holes. Anyone else remember the Tylenol tampering/poisonings in the early 80s?

Actually, most ice creams come with protective seals and I wouldn't buy one that was missing the seal.
So if she was “hot” it would be acceptable?

It must be regional because I've never seen the brand here. But you're right. They won't be "going under" for this. No ice cream company, even with a history of listeria/salmonella recalls, has gone under due to that.

A lone licker won't kill off Blue Bell lol.

Yes and I'm one. During the listeria ordeal, I caught wind that they were going to yank it off the shelves the next day. Ran up to the store around 10 p.m. and bought the last five gallons. That's all that was left, folks had been buying it up all day. I rationed it for the duration, lol.

Ok all I get it, I was being exaggerating. I didn't really think they'd go under because of this. My apologies.

Apparently the person who claimed responsibility on line and made the comments about Flu Bell was a fake. The girl who did it admitted to it when found and she is 17 so probably not much will happen to her. However, her boyfriend is over 18 so he may face charges because he filmed it and he could be heard telling her to lick it.

I think she should be tried as an adult.
