A stowaway tried to get to the UK by climbing in a planes landing gear in Kenya.
Of course the high altitude on oxygen meant there was little chance of survival, and the man't body fell oput of the plane over London, missng a sunbathing resident in ther garden by only a metre.

Police said it was thought the individual fell from a Kenya Airways flight from Nairobi.
A neighbour said the body fell a metre away from a resident who had been sunbathing in the garden.

It's sad to me. He took food and water with him, so this wasn't a last-minute plan. He probably knew nothing about airplanes and only saw his opportunity to escape what we don't yet understand.
Pity that he died.
It's also a bit scary that he was able to climb into that space so easily. Can that be done on all airplanes? Let's hope suicide terrorists don't know about it.

I agree it is very sad, to risk life for a better one.

Yes. We should not be making fun of the guy. We don’t know his motivation or life story. Imagine being that desperate to escape or to better oneself.
The BBC did a podcast story investigating a similar incident: "The Man Who Fell to Earth". Eventually they were able to get his phone unlocked, contact people who knew him and get his story. Very sad.
just never know what might fall out of the sky, and either miss or hit you.
recent local story:
"You don't think an airplane is going to drop right out of the sky and into your bedroom," she remarked. https://abc11.com/lone-survivor-says...mate-/5373839/
Not to minimize the sadness of the man dying, but can you imagine the trauma of the sunbather? To be just lying there, and then this big object comes out of the sky and just barely misses you? And then, after the initial shock, you get another shock when you realize that it's a dead body?
I didn't immediately think of the movie Con Air, but when BeerGeek40 mentioned it . . . yeah, I remember the scene in question.

I was reading an article that says he's completely freaked out and scared to return to his apartment. Apparently the body was "obliterated" by the fall, which sounds pretty horrific. I felt awful for the stowaway and was quite concerned for the sunbather.
